Hi, my name is Joanna. I am German-British. I love animals. Always have. So, I knew I wanted to do something with animals. At first, I wanted to be a vet, but then I found it more interesting to study and protect the habitat of animals, too. So, I started studying for my BSC in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology at Reaseheath University, which is part of Chester University. During my studies, I worked at the mini zoo of the campus and discovered that I also found reptiles and  amphibians  exciting. During the last summer of my studies, I got the opportunity to go to Cyprus for some turtle conservation work; this inspired me to pursue more knowledge in the marine sector. So, after my three years at Reaseheath University, I went on to do a Master's in Marine Biology at Bangor University in Wales. I have learned about many different animal handling and habitat restoration techniques through my studies and many hours of volunteering with organisations across the UK and abroad. And now, I'm setting up my own NGO to protect animals and their habitats. And I'm looking forward to doing that with you.
